Disney's 'Meet the Robinsons' Coming to Blu-ray Disc

(2007/9/17) Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced Disney's 'Meet the Robinsons' will be available October 23 on Blu-day Disc, day-and-date with the standard DVD debut.

'Meet the Robinsons' will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and PCM lossless audio. Extra features that will be found on both the Blu-ray and DVD versions include deleted scenes, Inventions that Shaped the World, Family Fun 5000 game, Inventing the Robinsons, music videos, and an audio commentary with unspecified cast/crew members. In addition, a few Blu-ray exclusive extras will include more deleted scenes and a BD-J interactive game Bowler Hat! Barrage.

'Meet the Robinsons' will carry an SRP of $34.99 on Blu-ray Disc.

Cars Exclusive Blu-ray Features Hands-On Preview

(2007/9/17) The movie's Car Finder BD-J interactive feature is intuitive enough for the most novice BD consumer yet robust enough to make seasoned Blu-ray fans feel like they're getting a worthy bonus. In essence, Car Finder is an interactive "Where's Waldo?" game in which viewers watch the entire movie in an interface that shows a variety of cars and landmarks to look for. This interface is subtle enough to not interfere with the movie itself, but it's large enough to keep viewers from forgetting they're supposed to be playing the BD-J "game."
