We've done a pretty decent job adjusting to remote work - maybe you've procured a second monitor, purchased a desk plant, or mixed up your morning routine to make working from home a bit more "normal". But there's still a big piece of our old work environment that's missing - live interactions with our teammates, managers and leaders.
Today's remote workforce is lacking a critical element of the employee experience that fuels motivation and productivity - connection. Meaningful connections, whether dishing about your weekend plans at the kitchen coffee pot, or having that extra five minutes to debrief after a difficult meeting, are missing from today's remote work environment. And those opportunities for connection ultimate shape our employer affinity, our intrinsic motivation to perform, and our overall morale. These connections foster community and belonging, which ultimately help to mitigate employee burnout.
Join Blueboard, Bravely, Donut, and a panel of HR leaders for a discussion around the power of forming meaningful employee connections while working remotely (or in socially distanced offices).
